Some precautions related to the working environment of wire cutting machine tools

  1、Choose a place free of dust and avoid leaving many passages next to the wire cutting;

  (1)The characteristics of the wire-cut EDM, the existence of dust in the air will seriously wear the lead screw of the machine and affect the service life;

  (2)The wire cutting discharge machine is controlled by a computer. The disc used in the computer has very strict requirements on the dust in the air. When the dust enters the disk, it will damage the disk and also the hard disk;

  (3) The wire cutting discharge machine itself emits a lot of heat, so it needs to be ventilated frequently in the electrical cabinet. If there is too much dust in the air, it will accumulate on various electrical components during the ventilation process, resulting in poor heat dissipation of the electrical components and causing the circuit board to burn out. Therefore, , the dust filter of the machine must be cleaned frequently.

  2、Choose a place that can bear the weight of the machine;

  3、Choose a place without vibration and shock, which is high-precision processing equipment. If there is vibration and shock, it will cause serious damage to the machine, seriously affect its machining accuracy, shorten its service life, and even cause the machine to be scrapped.

  4、Meet the space size required by the wire cutting machine;

  5、Choose a location with little temperature change, avoid direct sunlight through windows and roof glass, and near heat flow.

  (1) High-precision parts processing products need to be processed at a constant temperature, generally at room temperature 20C;

  (2)Since the WEDM itself generates considerable heat during operation, if the temperature changes too much, it will have a serious impact on the service life of the machine.

  6、Choose a shielded room: Since the wire-cut electrical discharge machining process belongs to the arc discharge process, strong electromagnetic waves will be generated during the arc discharge process, which will cause harm to human health and affect the surrounding environment.

  7、Choose a well-ventilated, spacious workshop that allows the operator and machine to work in the best possible environment.
